Minis that use a Lambda (O2) sensor needs this special tool for ease of replacement! 3/8" square drive - especially designed to provide access to sensors where restricted access is a problem.

This is the perfect tool to reach those tight spaces, especially on late models that have multiple oxygen sensors mounted near the cylinder head. The unit is slotted so that it will easily slip over the sensor wire harness without damaging the wire. This unit will fit any vehicle that has the standard 22mm oxygen sensor hex head.

Small = 3/8" drive and about 1" tall

Question:

I see a message saying this tool won't fit my car. 2006 MINI Cooper S, Manual. Just seems really odd so I had to ask. The other tool option for O2 Sensor removal and installation reports the same issue - won't' fit my car.

Answer:

The 22mm tool should work with almost any O2 sensor.
