MINI Factory Axle Boot Repair Kits for the Boots that protect the CV Joints. Each kit includes the inner and outer boot for ONE side for the fronts, and one inner or outer boot for the rears. Same kit fits both drivers and passenger sides.
Fits the following models:
2011-2016 R60 MINI Cooper and Cooper S Countryman
2013-2016 R61 MINI Cooper and Cooper S Paceman
Also compatible with Cooper S ALL4 models
NOTES:
- Axle Boot Repair Kit is 'per axle', each axle / drive shaft requires one inner and outer kit.
- The same kits fit both the Left side (drivers side) and Right side (passenger side).
- The ALL4 uses the same front kits as the Cooper S
- The ALL4 has its own unique Rear Kits
- Lubricant / grease for the CV joint is NOT included
The CV Joint Boot is critical to protecting the expensive Constant Velocity Joints and contains the lubricants for proper function. Any tear in the boot will expose the CV Joint to the elements and debris, and will allow the lubricant to escape. Once the joint is contaminated, it is only a matter of time before the CV Joint fails - leading to expensive repairs. If you see a tear in the axle boot - get it fixed!
