For 2nd generation 2007-2010 MINI Cooper S models including R56 Hardtop R55 Clubman R57 Convertible
This MINI Cooper S Intercooler Upgrade includes the Performance Intercooler upgrade from Wagner Tuning and some of the plumbing 'pipe' upgrades from NM Engineering for maximum flow through the intercooler. Improving the flow of the intake charge from the Turbocharger to the Intake Manifold results in more air into the combustion chamber which results in more power!
Improving flow through the engine is a fundamental concept when seeking more power from the engine. This kit addresses the area between the Turbo and the engine. This kit should be used in conjuction with an Intake upgrade and an Exhaust upgrade.

INTERCOOLER UPGRADE
The Wagner Intercoolers will improve efficiency, lower combustion temperatures, and reduce power loss from excessive intake temperatures - the net result is more power at the wheels!

TURBO OUTLET & CHARGE PIPE UPGRADES
The Premium Hi-Flow Turbo Outlet Pipe 3-piece kit eliminates the intake muffler and replaces the factory rubber hose between the turbocharger and intercooler (hot-side) with a new CNC mandrel bent pipe and silicone couplers (upper and lower) that will not expand under boost.
The Hi-Flow Charge Pipe Upgrade replaces the factory necked-down hose between the intercooler and throttle body (cold-side) just before the intake manifold. The Hi-Flow Charge Pipe Upgrade includes a new CNC mandrel bent pipe and silicone couplers that will not expand under boost. The system eliminates OEM sound chamber which, in result, helps to increase turbo response as well as mid-range and top-end power.
