Introducing the all new RSe12 LIGHTWEIGHT 18" Alloy wheels. Inspired by NM Eng's RSe14 for the Countryman, the RSe12s feature less spokes to optimize the weight saving and visually 'open up' the design. Sold Each. 4x100 Bolt Pattern.

Centercaps NOT included.

The RSe12 were designed specifically for the MINI Coopers, which translates to complete direct bolt-on fitment utilizing factory lug bolts, center caps, tire pressure monitoring sensors, as well as the Run-Flat tires – No spacers, No hub rings!! CENTER CAPS NOT INCLUDED.

Weighing just a mere 18.8 lbs, the RSe12 18" wheels will enhance your motoring experience cosmetically as well as performance by reducing the rotational mass or unsprung weight.

These wheels fit over the JCW 17 Sport Brake (Brembo) WITHOUT spacers! In fact, these will clear the JCW, Brembo, Stoptech, and Wilwood big brake kits WITHOUT spacers! Not many wheels do that.

Available Finish: Silver, Gun Metal, and Black - Select finish from the Image List below or to the right. Wheels sold each.

The lighter the wheel and other unsprung components, the easier it is for the tire to follow bumps in the road. On a vehicle with extremely high unsprung weight, the inertia of the wheel and associated assembly can't move fast enough to follow the road, resulting in a jarring, crashing ride.

Lowering the unsprung weight and rotating weight yields multiple dividends, with better acceleration, better braking, better ride, better fuel economy, and better handling. Money spent to reduce unsprung weight may be great, but it's a much better payoff than with sprung weight.

Although all of these wheels are checked for fitment by the suppliers, ALWAYS match specifications on the wheel with packaging label, and physically check-fit the wheel on the vehicle BEFORE mounting the tire.

Items to check:

  • Center/Hub bore diameter
  • Brake clearance - caliper to wheel
  • PCD or bolt pattern
  • Offset or ET

Once a tire has been mounted on the wheel, we are unable to accept any returns.

Centercaps and TPMS modules available separately.

I have a 2008 New MINI Cooper non-turbo model. I was wondering would you know how much the stock steel wheels weigh? They are the stock spoke white wheels. What type of lighter performance type wheel would you suggest? I am partial to the older MINILIGHT type wheels they have been around for a long time?
If you have steel wheels on your R56 MINI Cooper, they can easily weigh 20+ lbs and maybe closer to 30 lbs.

Performance (and fuel economy) can be improved with lightweight wheels as they will reduce the unsprung weight. Racing wheels can be as light as 15 lbs each for 17 inch wheels. However the drawback with extreme light weight wheels is that some wheel designs can be prone to damage when hitting large potholes at speed.

Wheel choice is very subjective due to the very 'visual' nature of the product. We have a few lightweight wheels listed here, and I would also recommend you visit and see what other styles are available.
