MINI Factory OEM JCW Aero Kit Black Grille Trim.

This part number includes the upper and lower black trim that fits above and below the grille.  The grille itself is NOT included.

The Grille and the surrounding Trim are sold separately.

NOTES:

• Grille and Trim (upper and lower finisher trim in black) are offered separately. Cooper Grille and Trim are production date dependent. Select accordingly.
• Grille Trim is different for JCW, Cooper S and Cooper non-S - if you install the JCW Grille, you will need to get the JCW Grille Trim.
• Does not fit the MINI Diesel.

Installation Notes:

• Upper Grille trim comes with the plastic clips/tabs and plastic nuts, but the screws are not included.  If you need the screws, the NMX7729 are the same screws used on the upper grille trim.
• Lower Grille Trim is designed to fit the JCW front bumper. If you don't have the JCW front bumper, the Lower Trim may require a dab of adhesive on each end to keep it firmly in place.
• Lower Grille Trim attaches to the JCW front bumper with tabs on the trim - no hardware necessary.

Note: Since the Lower Trim is designed to fit the JCW front bumper which is slightly different from the standard bumper, the Lower Trim may require a dab of adhesive on each side to keep it firmly in place.

The main difference between the factory installed grille and this is the openings in this grill are much larger and are a more defined 'stretched hexagon' pattern which looks pretty aggressive. Easy swap takes around 5 minutes.

Note: Since the Lower Trim is designed to fit the JCW bumper, it does not fit very tightly on the Cooper non-S bumper and may require a dab of adhesive on each side to keep it firmly in place.

This trim will NOT fit the 'aero kit' (Hypersport Package) for 2007 - 2008. In 2009 MINI changed the Aero Bumper and will fit with minor mods (requires trimming 1/4" arc off the ends).

To install:
Open hood and pull out the 4 plastic heads from the 4 round plastic inserts along the top edge of the existing grill flange. Pull directly OUTWARD on the lower grill trim and squeeze the 4 V shaped tabs to release grill from the bumper. Bam, you're done (aside from putting the new one on!!)
