I have an R56 MINI Cooper JCW hardtop and my rear chrome trim beltline piece came off. Will these clips fasten it back on? And how many are needed?

Answer:

The catalog says it takes 2 of these clips per car, so one per side. There must be some other mechanism that holds the trim in place, like the 'insert' that goes on under the chrome trim.
