Basic Yakima Roof Rack System for the MINI Cooper without roof rails. Factory Roof Rail not compatible. This Yakima Rack  is designed to fit the new 3rd Generation F-series, using the available mounting slots. Locks and Keys included.

This kit includes the Basic Rack System plus Locks.

Fits the following models:

• 2014-2020 F56 MINI Cooper and Cooper S Hardtop
• (Solution for the F55 4-door is currently under development.)

This Basic Roof Rack includes All  Mounting Hardware, Crossbars, Locks and Keys.

This kit includes:

• Yakima Q Towers 4-Pack.
• Yakima 48" CrossBar (2 CrossBars).
• Yakima Q128 Q-Clips (set of 4).
• Yakima SKS Lock Core (set of 8).

The BasicRack uses 4 Lock Cores, the extra cores can be used on other Yakima Accessories so the same key can be used on additional accessories.

YAKIMA ROOF RACK APPLICATION CHART:

NOTES:

• Canoes are limited to 14 feet or less on this application.
• At the specified measurements, insert a plastic card under the trim to locate the hidden slot. Firmly press the clips into the hidden slot, using the plastic card to help leverage the clip into place.
• All loads extending beyond the length of the roof (except cargo boxes) must be secured to both the front and rear of the vehicle, in addition to the rack.
• Always be sure to tie down your SUP as per instructions. SupPup and SupDawg require using nose tie down strap.
• The sunroof/panoramic roof should not be opened while the rack and/or gear mounts are installed. You may remove the rack when not in use.
• Any load/mount extending beyond the rear hatch seam may cause interference.
• Clips are installed in pockets on rooftop trim strip.
• Limited to 2 surf/sail/paddleboards. Boards must be stacked - NEVER carry side-by-side.

The Base Rack system includes all of the above plus the WindJammer Aerofoil. The WindJammer snaps onto the front crossbar and creates smooth flow of air to reduce wind noise. If you prefer the traditional Fairing, that is available in a different kit.

This Base Rack system does not include Locks, but is available as an option. The Optional Lock Cores comes in a Set of 8 - the base rack system uses 4 and the other 4 can be used with other Yakima accessories where the same key can be used on all locks.

The Fairing reduces noise and will also reduce wind resistance by moving airflow up and over the rack reducing drag and aiding gas mileage.

• At the specified measurements, insert a plastic card under the trim to locate the hidden slot. Firmly press the clips into the hidden slot, using the plastic card to help leverage the clip into place.

• Always be sure to tie down your SUP as per instructions. SupPup and SupDawg require using nose tie down strap.

• Any load/mount extending beyond the rear hatch seam may cause interference.
• Clips are installed in pockets on rooftop trim strip.
