Aftermarket Value Line Cabin Filter.  This is a routine maintenance item that many people overlook. The designers at MINI took the time to create a 'clean' environment in your cab by using an interior air filtration system. Unfortunately, like any other filter, it must be replaced in order to continue providing clean filtered interior air.

2016-2021 F57 MINI Cooper and Cooper S Convertible
2016-2021 F54 MINI Cooper and Cooper S Clubman
2017-2021 F60 MINI Cooper and Cooper S Countryman

Choose from an inexpensive paper filter or the carbon charcoal activated filter.

NOTE: Replacement interval depends greatly on the type of environment where you drive your MINI. Dusty or heavy pollen areas can clog the filter in as little as a couple months! Check the filter at least 2 or 3 times a year.

Servicing the Cabin Filter requires the following steps:

• Remove Footwll light
• Remove right side Instrument Panel Trim (bottom right)
• Remove side center console trim panel
• Open flap to access filters
• Remove upper filter (pay attention to the  indicated direction of airflow)
• Remove lower filter  (pay attention to the  indicated direction of airflow)
• Insert lower filter with the spacers in the 'down' position (spacers were omitted 02/2016 and later) pay attention to the indicated direction of airflow
• Insert upper filter - pay attention to the indicated direction of airflow.
• Close flap and re-assemble in reverse
