Question:

I'm concerned that the spare tire and tray will not fit in the compartment in the boot of the car. Can you tell me how tall the assembly would be? The compartment is 5 1/4" tall.

Answer:

This is a factory original part made specifically to fit the Gen3 Clubman and Countryman MINIs. 
These MINI original parts fit very well in the clubman.

Question:

Can you please tell me if this part is for mounting/storing the spare tire under the car trunk, or it will still be in the trunk and the tray is just to screw it so that it doesn't move, and to store the tools? Thank you

Answer:

The G3NMW7620 Tire Tray and Cover is there to secure the tire from moving around in the trunk. 

The tray is also designed to hold the tools (which are not included), and it also provides some support to the false floor so it does not cave in with heavy trunk contents on top.
