Late model tube shock conversion kit for half (semi) elliptic models (all but the quarter elliptic) up to 1974. Kit includes brackets and Spax adjustable gas shocks. Our renowned Spax adjustable telescopic shock absorber conversion replaces the lever unit and, with its inclined fit, it helps locate the rear axle. This conversion offers the ultimate in damping along with adjustability and reliability for fast road/sport use. However for competition use many regulations do not allow this conversion.

Question:
Will the rear spax conversion for 74 midget work with 3" lowered springs?
Answer:

We think the lowered height Spax shocks for the front of the Minis  would be correct for lowered Spridgets in the rear:

But, since there's no conversion kit that comes with the lowered shocks, you're in a bit of a pickle. You'd have to buy the standard kit and get the lowered shocks separately. We can't substitute as the kits come to us completely - we don't put them together ourselves. Neither do we offer just a rear kit without the shocks included.
