Tenax Fastener Fitting Key

The Tenax fastener has been used since their introduction in 1929 in marine, automotive, and even military applications. For our purposes, they're used extensively to secure the convertible tops and tonneau covers on the Sprite & Midget. The female fastener, TFS106, is secured to material by screwing the base nut (551684) onto the pull piece (552964) by means of this tool. The base nut has two (2) holes that this tool will index into giving you the leverage to tighten the 2-piece female fastener in place.
