While the generator is primarily an electrical device, it must be remembered that the power comes from a mechical device that can wear out. Although simple, one of the parts that does wear out are the brushes. All electric motors use brushes and the generator is no exception. This brush set fits the GEU3101/GEX3101 (LRD100) generators on all Minis, Spridgets, and Morris Minors. It does not fit the earliest tach drive generator in the Bugeye Sprite - that set is GGB105.
