Kent Auto Developments has created this lightweight alternative to drum brakes. The rear disc brake conversion combines hydraulic operation for the foot brake with an effective mechanical handbrake allowing discs to be fitted to both road legal and competition cars.
The calipers are a single piston sliding type, fully dust sealed and machined from billet aluminium. The hubs, carrying a lightweight steel drilled disc are CNC machined from billet aluminum and accept standard Mini taper wheel bearings.
The kits are supplied complete with all of the parts to convert from drum to disc brake including EBC brake pads and use the standard handbrake cables. The kit will fit under 10" wheels and has been designed with both road and competition usage in mind.

Weight is 6.2 pounds - less than half the weight of most drum brakes.

Is there a kit that includes rear and front disc brakes? I need to convert my four drums on my 69 MK 2 . To disc brakes.
Answer:

No, there are no kits for front and rear. The reason is that MINI never had a rear disc brake option from the factory - they always had rear drums.

Question:
Is this bolt pattern compatible with the Honda pattern on the VTEC conversion?
Answer:
The Vtec kits we sell use Mini hub pattern wheels, they do not use Honda wheels. 
These kits are a direct replacement for the Mini rear drums and use the Mini standard 4x4" pattern.
If you are referring to the AWD rear kit, this will not work, as that kit requires Mazda rear hubs and would use Mazda bolt pattern wheels.
