I have a 1978 classic mini. I just wanted to check to make sure it would work for my ignition (after I have it cut, ofcourse) Is this the style I need?

As it is difficult to be sure of anything by the year of a Mini, it would be best to check your old key. Most keys have a number on them, if your key starts with a FS, then this is the key that can be cut for your Mini.
