The Mini engine has the unique feature of sharing its oil between the engine and the transmission. Thus keeping the oil temperature under control will greatly impact both life expectancy and performance of both engine and trans. One of the best options (as found on almost all original "S" models) is the use of a front mounted oil cooler. This cooler set-up can be fitted to any and all models prior to the 12A engine (circa 1992) with this handy DIY kit. Comes complete with 13 row oil cooler, a set of hoses and a pair of mounting brackets for locating the cooler right behind the grille.
Do you sell and oil cooler kit for a 1972 Morris Mini? It appears you sell all the piece parts but I would like a complete kit with installation instructions.
Hello! We do sell a kit as part number MMKT0136
on the website. However it does not include instructions - they are meant to mount behind the grille as original like below but include brackets for custom mounting.
