This kit comes with the hinges and brackets necessary to flip your front end vertically as shown in the above photos. These hinges are now smoother than ever with improved hardware and machining. Hinge Kit includes: RH and LH Hinge, 2 Gas springs, 2 hood brackets, and 2 front hood pins (New). Will also fit standard nose mini.

I have installed these on an original clip we made 1 piece. Is there a seal we can use for the back edge?
Answer:
You can take a look at JRC7008, I think that may work.

Does this hinge kit come with full fitting instructions, are they straightforward to attach to the front end?
Answer:
The basic instructions with this Classic Mini Front End Hinge Kit are included - it's pretty straight forward - the hinges bolt to the factory upper shock mounts and installing the hood/front end portion is typical of custom fiberglass work.

Do you need the one-piece front end for this hinge kit or can you use the stock front end?
Answer:
This hinge kit is designed for the one-piece front ends, as it allows the front end to come forward off the post mounts, then tilt up and open.
It works with a standard length front end but all one-piece steel front ends will have to be your own fabrication.

They will work, since they are custom mounted, you will have no problems. (In fact they work a little better for clubmans than the round nose)
