When changing the oil in any MINI Cooper or Cooper S, the factory recommends that you replace the sealing washer. Since the sealing washer is part of the drain plug, here is a new drain plug with the sealing washer. (Plug and washer not available separately.)

• 2002-2006 R50 MINI Cooper
• R53 MINI Cooper S
• 2005-2008 R52 MINI Cooper and Cooper S Convertibles

Does NOT fit 2007+ R56 MINI Cooper and Cooper S, and does NOT fit the R55 MINI CLUBMANS.

This item is included as part of an Oil Change Kit.

Remember to use full synthetic motor oil. MINI recommends 5W-40 or 5W-30 FULL SYNTHETIC motor oil.

Torque the drain plug to 18 ft-lb.
