Factory replacement convertible top cable mechanism for MINI Convertible. This kit includes both right side and left side cable with latching mechanism. Only available in pairs.

Fits the following models:

2005-2008 R52 Cooper and Cooper S Convertible

If your top opens only on one side, there is a good chance this cable mechanism broke on the side that won't open. We have seen reports of this cable detaching from the latching mechanism due to an unrepairable mechanical failure.

NOTE: When replacing the Cable mechanism, MINI spedifies that the Gate to be replaced with the Fastening Kit.
