In Classic Minis, this is the bulb holder for the original Smiths auxillary gauges fitted to 3 clock centre dashboards i.e 13H4459 and 13H4460, it does not fit the aftermarket Smiths gauges (SIB part numbers). For Sprites & Midgets, this holder is used for the Ignition warning lamp.
