This kit will also work on 1275cc AH Sprites and MG Midgets: You would need to source the high pressure fuel pump, though we do include the pressure regulator. On a rear drive application we find that clearance at the front is tight (for the trigger wheel and damper) and sometimes needs a small amount of relief to the cross member.

I have a 1982 classic Mini w/ a 998 motor. I'm kind of getting tired of tuning this HS4 carb. Is this kit fairly easy to install? Does it come w/ instructions? Do I need any other parts outside of this kit?
Answer:
The kit is complete and includes instructions. I would suggest it takes a little above average skill to install and can indeed be done by an experienced DIY'er.
NOTE: Tuning the FI kit will require a dyno tuning session to tweak the computer mapping.

Both the Weber and the Fuel Injection kit require that you current Mini uses a separate manifold for intake and exhaust. Most of the early 998 had a one piece cast iron manifold that would have to be replaced in either upgrade.
