The very early cars with single-speed wiper motors use three studs to mount the motor to the firewall. These studs are supposed to be isolated with the included unique rubber grommets. Three studs and grommets included in kit, one kit per car. Fits Classic Minis, Austin-Healey Sprite, MG Midget, and Morris Minors.

Is there a trick to installing the rubber isolation mounts into the holes in the body?

Answer:

Into the mounting plate? No, real trick, maybe some lubrication - I just did this recently and it takes lube (I think i used sill glide). You can also try a blunt end tool (plastic or similar - not metal) to help them go in.
