We are so proud of one of Brembo, one of our TOP suppliers of Brake parts at Mini Mania.
The annual environmental disclosure and rating process by CDP is widely recognized as the corporate environmental reporting gold standard. In 2019, more than 525 investors with more than $96 trillion in assets and 125 significant consumers with $3.6 trillion in procurement spending asked companies to disclose data on environmental impacts, threats and opportunities through the CDP portal and received more than 8,400 responses.
CDP uses a rigorous and unbiased approach to evaluate these organizations, allocating an A to D- score based on full transparency, understanding and management of environmental risks and demonstration of environmental leadership best practices, such as setting clear and practical targets. Those not reporting or providing insufficient information are marked with an F.
Brembo Chief CSR Officer and Board Member Cristina Bombassei said: “Being part of the Water Security and Climate Change A Lists is a prestigious acknowledgment of Brembo’s commitment to more sustainable water and climate management. This recognition rewards the Group’s concrete commitment to developing a more sustainable industry and improving collective well being.”
CDP CEO Paul Simpson, said: “Congratulations to the companies that achieved a position on CDP’s A List this year, for leading in environmental performance and transparency. The scale of the business risks from the climate emergency, deforestation and water insecurity are vast – as are the opportunities from addressing them – and it’s clear the private sector has a vital role to play at this critical time. The A List companies are leading the market in corporate sustainability, tackling environmental risks and setting themselves up to thrive in tomorrow’s economy.”
