Tons of 850's out there in decent condition, I think it is the availability of a manifold n intakes. Lots of folk love the 850, some say it is bullet proof, why not try? Lots of folk build turbo manifolds in their garage for Honda D's & small turbo's are available on CL or new on eBay. I'd start w small turbo. I'm surprised no ones just done to say they have. Ive got a nice 850 I might donate if someone wants to try n turbo it

Hi there. I just got a Austin Mini 1972 850cc. It is dificult to find a nice 1275 upgrade for less than $6000 plus shipment, plus installation, etc. I was thinking to get a small turbo sytem just to make the car feel more alive. Any sugestions? Advises? To make it to respond similar or better than a 998cc would make me happy. For a reasonable amount of money of course. THX
