If in doubt, flat out. Colin Mc Rae MBE 1968-2007.

No one knows what those cars are worth since an intact running example hasn't been up for auction. I expect nothing less than a similar quality MKI S would get, which appears to be something like $60K USD on BAT for the choice ones. There are days when I would take an offer like that for 815, or the '65 S, but most days not. Days when I have to move them out of the way to get at the Cortina are my weak days

I recently sold the '68 tin wagon, so I have just the Minis three left, and the parts inventory is shrinking. I always said that when I stopped working I'd downsize the collection so I could liquidate the warehouse and extract $0.5 million from it. There's no point in delaying it, so I'll pick away at parts this year and prep a couple of cars for sale next year. Of course, the UK economy is in the tank and the US economy may follow, depending upon what the tangerine terror gets up to, so now may not be the time to sell unique cars. I won't have a fire sale, so if the economy isn't cooperating, I'll sit on the cars and building until things improve, then get a container to ship the cars back home to UK for auction.
Stay tuned...

Greetings Miniacs, forgive me, it's been like FOREVER since I visited here...
I'm downsizing my collection of cars and goodies in preparation for eventual sale of my warehouse where everything has been stored. I'm currently offering:
- The 8-port EFI engine https://www.minimania.com/cars4sale/15680/Mini
- disk brake setup https://www.minimania.com/cars4sale/15681/Mini
- 3-piece wheels https://www.minimania.com/cars4Sale/15682/Part__Mini_3-Piece_custom_5x10_racin
- HIF carb on manifold https://www.minimania.com/cars4Sale/15683/Part__Mini_HIF44_on_aluMINIum_manifo
The custom built dyno stand will be available shorty, and next year the '65 Cooper S and possibly the Heinz Hornet will be available. For now I will keep the '69 Cooper that I rallied all through the '90's, the Cortina which still needs to be finished (!!!) and the Sonett, which is currently being restored. When I sell the warehouse there will be tough decisions on which car I keep (sniff!)
Stay tuned...
PS, keep your trolling to yourself, that's why I left here in the first place.
