Ok. just looked at the vin number on 1974my pick up and it is @ XLU1-460XXA  .. so guess the van  would have V as third number and wagons a W as fourth numbers?? PHD.

I know a guy that had one a few years back that talked about selling. I sent him a PM, not sure if and when I will get a reply though.

I talked to friend of Al Z. from Toronto Canada today.. said the pick up on autotrader.ca is yellow one. Al Zs is white.. and does NOT have pick up vin number..  just heads up.. Cheers PHD

Markiss, Still no reply from that guy... PHD, I spoke with Al yesterday...He is not interested in selling any of his minis. He is interested in talking about minis and would have stayed on the phone for hours had I not convinced him I had to return to work at some point. :)

He did take my number and said he would let me know if he decides to sell and of em.

No sweat. I would have been interested in it if I wasn't so elbow-deep into my rest-mod Mini project right now. If the seller didn't want to deal with emails, they should have listed their phone number in the ad. 
Could maybe even ask around to any Canadians on here that live in Ontario if they'd go check it out for you.

Travis, just seen this one come up for sale in Canada. Little far from you. But at least the currency conversion works in your favour. At the current conversion rate, it puts it at $25,700(USD). And it's over the 25 year old importation exemption for the US.

Travis..10 incher. I have just been offered a Pick up. UK moke and van in North Bay Ontario. So I was curious whom you meant by the ML reference. Then I thought maybe you'd be referring to one of the past/current cons around here, before my time of joining this group. And sure enough once I checked that locked topic thread, the initials match. So you're saying that I'm best friends with one of them by the looks of it. You just love to constantly include these people in topics all over this forum, don't you? Just can't leave it alone. I neither support of condone their past behaviour and feel bad for anyone that had bad dealings with them. And if they show up again, they should be exposed and dealt with in whatever manner one wishes bring to them.
I'm also one that tries to take in more positivity than negativity in life. There's more than enough negativity in this world today. Don't need to immerse myself in it. So PhatHead, try to think and act more positively. And as mothers from the good ole days would say, "If you don't have something good to say, don't say it at all." No point soiling this thread or any others with negative BS that doesn't need to be in it, and have this or other topic threads blocked too because of it. And if you insist on keeping it up, maybe you should be blocked next.
