It has gotten quite boring around here with that poster being banned. 

I am waiting 10 days or so to see what happens. Myself, I believe court ruling documents.

I think it has to do with the poster. If you remember he was banned from posting on this forum.  Look and you will see all his posts are gone.

Well it's been quieter around here since someone's account has been disabled. But if we continue to speculate about it and get into more fake news, all we're going to do is replicate the other thread that got deleted. I'm sure it'll all come out in the wash soon enough. There were already a few articles covering the landing of Moke International onto American soil, and happen to talk of the suit against Moke America in there. So it will be brought forth sometime soon enough I'm sure. And then it'll be the official word, instead of running around screaming that the sky is falling.
As it stands right now, Moke Amercia's website is still up and their social media accounts are still active and posting recent content. So they are still operating as normal for now. But for how much longer and what the details are? Time will tell all. At the very least they'll have to change their slogan of being "The only electric Moke in America," now that Moke International has landed.

I drove a modern "MOKE" a few months ago in the Cayman Islands, but it CLEARLY was not a real Moke.
It kinda/sorta looked like a MOKE, but it was all chinesium parts.

I enjoyed it, but I would never buy one.

talking about something totally different MOKE-wise???

The court decision says the trademark name "Moke" does not belong to Moke America. I do not understand what that will mean in real life, such as - does that company need to change it's name? Must they not have "Moke" on their vehicles? Do the ones they already sold need to be crushed? What about those they have not sold? Probably would need a specifically trained lawyer to correctly answer those questions and more....I can guess but who knows?

I think that's what created the problem in the first place that resulted in the thread being deleted. I'm sure the official word will be publicized online within the auto journalism sites soon enough. Stay tuned. 

Seems one of the issues is who has the naming rights to the word Moke. Does anyone have a good understanding of the outcome?

good question.. I was interested in the topic.. I own a 1967 Moke but was still following the story.

It was interesting following the Moke America troubles thread - wonder what happened to it?
That trademark case must have repurcussions - just be of note to Moke enthusiasts here as to what happened and what is forecast to happen to the companies and people involved..........
