If you require a MK1/2 genuine rear valance without foglamp holes order 14A6940 This rear valance had holes drilled in it for fog lamp wire and fittings from 1983on.The holes do not have castellated nuts on the back and need to be fitted before fitting as the end holes are not reachable because of the valance rear closing panels,The CZH3353MS has castellated nuts fitted. The MS22 rear non genuine saloon valance has no holes as per the original MK1/2

What was salvageable from the original shell amounted to a roof, part of the door frames, the rear panel, rear side panels and the seat brace.  At this point, you anoraks can all chime it as to what constitutes a re-shell vs. panel repairs.  But I had a decision to make; punt or go for the first down.
