This kit rebuilds one front 8.4" disc caliper - for Classic Minis from 1984 onward (or earlier Minis with later brake conversions) and Sprites & Midgets from late 1962 and onward (all cars with front disc brakes).

Disc brakes require little maintenance and are often neglected. If used and maintained regularly, rebuilding requires only new seals, however if inspection reveals rusty or pitted pistons they should be replaced. This kit includes a pair of pistons and a pair of seals; get two kits if you're doing both sides of the car.
