Mk1 "single-skinned" boot lid as fitted to Classic Minis until approx December 1966, when the double-skinned lid came out. Made by British Motor Heritage Limited, this panel is produced initially off the original tooling, ensuring good panel fit and integrity, with new unique tooling developed to produce the MK1 number plate depression with the outer skin of the bootlid. Following clinching of the inner and outer panels, the assembly is hand-finished by Heritage craftsmen, to ensure the highest-quality panel.
