Dual Points Set for SU Electric Fuel Pump | Classic Mini | Sprite & MG Midget | Morris Minor
An old friend of mine drove a british car that had a cable rigged between the tailpipe and fuel pump; when the fuel pump would quit, the motor shook, jarring the fuel pump back to life! Previously he would coast to a stop and smack the pump with the nearest blunt object.
A better fix is to replace these points!
