Friction losses within a multi-leaf spring are a major problem in achieving consistent performance. Reducing the number of leaves, while maintaining the proper spring rate is a big benefit! Our Quarter-elliptic Springs work great on the race track or on the street. Easy to install, they fit all Bugeyes and early "square-nose" Sprigets! Stock quarter elliptic springs are way too stiff , especially for a race-weight Bugeye. Our competition springs are about 20% softer than the originals! Fits all '58 thru '64 Sprites and Midgets.
