With this large diameter 48" long line to the oil pressure gauge you can actually see minor fluctuations in the pressure at idle or when the relief valve bounces open and closed. Because the braided steel line is one piece from the block to the gauge there is less chance of leaks or failure. Both threaded ends on this hose are the same - one for the gauge and one for the OA adapter in the block.
