Mini Cooper Boot Rod Change Shift

The hole for the gearshift lever on all later models cars (those with rod change transmissions) have a more oval hole than the earlier almost square one. Thus the shift boot for the rod change trans is not intercahngable with the early one. But the funstion is still the same- not only does it provide a finished look but more importantly it keeps the dirt and water out of the inside of the car!
