Hi-Flow intake system for the turbocharged R56, R55, and R57 MINI Cooper S USA models only. Unlike some competitors, this Premium intake features an integrated larger turbo inlet tube. CNC mandrel bent aluminum pipe, stainless brackets and silicone couplings that are all designed, engineered and manufactured to fit and perform.

Choose between kits with the blue re-usable filter or the white paper filter.  The re-usable filter lasts for many years if properly cleaned and maintained.  The paper filter is a more convenient disposable filter, just toss the old and install a new filter.

This Induction Kit is CARB APPROVED! Product includes CARB exemption decal necessary to pass the visual inspection portion of the California Emissions test.

The 'Open-Air-Box' system gives you the abundance and unrestricted 360° of air source compared to OEM's sealed air box with flat filter and tube fed air source. During R&D, we installed temperature probes around the engine compartment and the gauge showed the inside temperature matched the ambient after vehicle sped past 20 mph. And by logging the Mass Air Flow (MAF) sensor also showed that open-air-box intake generated higher volume (gr/sec) of air going through the sensor. So when we had to choose between (a) cooler air at all speed with limited air source, vs. (b) cooler air at 20~ mph. with unlimited air source, the choice was pretty obvious.
