Use this socket for the 'right tool' for the job! The spark plugs on the MINI are recessed deep in the cylinder head and requires a deep thin-walled socket. The spark plug themselves are 12-point bi-hex pattern where a standard 6-point hex socket will not work.

This socket is NOT like the one found in your dad's tool box - the difference is the included magnet to secure the plug and design. We recommend a 'locking' extension to get the socket off the spark plug after you torque the plug.
