Why the industries first adjustable shock is still the best:

* Yellow exterior finish
* Lifetime Limited Warranty
At the softest setting (with stock springs), these shocks offer slightly softer compression with a slightly stiffer rebound when compared to the stock shocks. Eliminates the 'bounciness' with the stock shocks. Depending on your driving style, you can stiffen the shocks for more spirited driving or track applications.
Last but not least, KONl's shocks are built to last a lifetime. Once you have bought a set of KONl's shocks for your car, they usually will outlive it. KONI street shocks carry a lifetime warranty to the original purchaser for as long as you own the vehicle.Sold as a pair.
Both fronts and rear are externally adjustable via an adjustment screw at the top of the shaft.
Select Front pair or Rear pair.
For a kit including these shocks with lowering springs, see G2NMS3015.
Since you have driven your MINI on the track, you know that it has a bit of understeer. Installing a larger / stiffer rear sway bar will reduce the understeer and make the car more balanced. You can make the car oversteer if you go too far. That is the first suspension upgrade I recommend.
The next upgrade you might consider is lowering springs to lower the center of gravity. This will help the turn-in response as it will reduce the 'weight-shift' when you start the turn. When you lower the car, you will need adjustable rear control arms so you can correct the rear camber.
The next suspension upgrade might be performance shocks. Performance shocks help to keep the tires planted on the surface on uneven road surface, especially in turns. Coilovers are more extreme but might be overkill for a street driven car. Same with front camber plates.
You should upgrade brakes IF you are experiencing brake-fade on the track, where the brakes start to feel 'spongy' and less effective. This is caused by the brake pads overheating and the brake fluid boiling. Racing brake fluid is the first upgrade you should try, then find some 'track rated' brake pads. Be careful with track pads since some need to be 'warmed up' before they function properly which is not ideal for the street. Some people change pads when they get to the track, but then you need to bed them in properly.
The extreme brake upgrade is a big brake kit but that can get expensive.
Keep in mind that when you upgrade for performance, you sacrifice ride quality and comfort on the streets. You can't have both.
