COST-EFFECTIVE Coilover suspension upgrade for MINI from V-Maxx. If you have a 'daily driver' and want to give it a 'sporting' look, this is the answer!

You may say: " I don't drive on the track so I don't need coilovers" - guess what, these are STREET upgrades which lower the center of gravity for improved handling and better looks. Yes, you give up some ride quality but the firmer ride means better handling. It doesn't have the track rated springs or dampening adjustments - but look at the price!

NOTE: At the 'highest' setting, your MINI will be about 1.5" lower than stock.

V-maxx Coilovers kits are manufactured in Holland to high standards which meet the strict TüV testing standards. V-maxx products offer high performance while representing great value.

Fits:

2008-2014 R55 MINI Cooper and Cooper S Clubman

Note: The Clubman has a unique part number, note model when ordering.

Height is easily adjusted from low to very low with the adjustment tool included.

[ ] Fronts 40 - 70mm drop
[ ] Rears 30 - 65mm drop

NOTES:

  • This Coilover kit requires a shorter Drop Link or End Link for the Front Sway Bar. See G2NMS2110.
  • Select the Rear Adjustable Drop Link to correct the rear sway bar position.

This coilover kit offers:

[ ] Lower center of gravity for better handling
[ ] Reduces the 'fender gap' for a cleaner look
[ ] High quality TüV approved product
[ ] 2 year manufacturers warranty

For the daily driver - this is a great solution! Works pretty good on the track too, just not as good as the other more expensive track type coilovers. Yes, you give up some ride quality - but you get the improved looks and handling.

Here is an excerpt from an article at the Motoring Alliance web site:

"I can confidently recommend these coil-overs to most people that are looking to lower their MINI without breaking the bank, or their back. They do not ruin the handling prowess of the MINI, yet they shouldn’t be confused as a full-on track-day suspension package. The type of MINI enthusiast that appreciates good looks and good comfort without requiring massive racetrack prowess won’t miss the last few ounces of handling anyway."

NOTE: Any time you 'lower' the MINI, you increase the rear negative camber. In order to avoid uneven rear tire wear, we strongly recommend a set of rear adjustable Control Arms to correct the rear camber. Install the adjustable control arms and have the alignment done.

You can find Adjustable Rear Control Arms here.

See the Mini Cooper Shock and Struts Application Guide for a listing of all non-factory shocks and struts.
