If the switch in your handle stops working or is falling apart, you need to replace the entire handle; the switch is not available separately. This genuine BMW MINI factory replacement unpainted 'complete' handle module includes the switch and license plate lights (with bulbs) and will need to be painted to match your MINI's body color. Gasket sold separately; hardware not included.

This unit comes in two pieces, the handle, and cover, which comes separate to make it easier for painting. If the cover on your existing handle is in good shape, and you can separate it from the handle, you can then simply re-use it and you won't need to paint anything (unless you really want to). The two pieces simply snap together before mounting.
