Good quality brake pad set that will fit all the Sprite/Midgets and any of the later-model Classic Minis with 12" or 13" wheels (8.4" brakes). (These are the cars that will have the later model big brakes.) These pads are designed to stop without fuss and not squeal or leave brake dust. These are the perfect balance to allow you to stop fast and still last a long time!
Question:
I have a 1960 Morris Minor with the MG/Sprite Ft disc brake fitment, Is it possible to fit MGB calipers and bigger rotors as these seem really small… without reinventing everything?
Answer:
Those brakes were used on the Sprites & Midgets from 1962-1979 and should be more than adequate on a Morris Minor. The larger MGB brakes and Spitfire rotors would be overkill on anything but a racecar for the most part. I would stick to the Spridget brakes as they're already a huge improvement over the 7" front drum brakes that your Minor left the factory with.
