Brand new alternator without any surcharges. Note that this alternator is supplied without the fan, pulley and Woodruff key- you'll need to reuse your old fan, pulley and key. These can be used as a direct replacement for all Mini models after 1985 but can be used on earlier models as well.
Question:
Will this bolt straight into a 1967 Morris Minor 1000? I believe the original dynamo is in it now but not charging as I have fog-lights. Do you have the drop-in replacement dynamo? Any qualms about just replacing it as I’m only running fog lights and a couple of gauges.
Answer:
Yes, it will work with your Morris Minor. Firstly, though, the car will need to be converted to negative ground unless that's already been done. Then you need to re-wire the wires at the voltage regulator.
