Question:
I want to change my shocks and I have a 1966 Austin Mini Cooper, which are the best ones? I want to keep it as original as possible.
Answer:
The stock Mini shocks are basic oil filled shocks which we do have  https://www.minimania.com/part/GSA389/Classic-Austin-Mini-Rear-Shock-Absorber-Standard-Ride-Height
We also offer better quality shocks, i would recommend the KYB  https://www.minimania.com/part/552018/Austin-Mini-Kyb-Front-Shock-Absorber-Gas-a-just-Sold-Individually. We also have higher quality shocks above that but if it's a daily driver, the KYB should work just fine.
Hope that helps,

Classic Mini Cooper SUSPENSION - Basic Priorities

Despite the five main factors that control the front suspension geometry – kingpin inclination, caster angle, camber angle, track, and bump-steer – we are only really able to alter three of those easily. King-pin inclination is non-adjustable, as it’s a feature of where the swivel-pins are mounted on the hub at the factory.
