Question:
I am converting my vintage race car from wire wheels to minilites for safety, which presents the opportunity to upgrade hubs and brakes at the same time. Will I need any other bits and pieces?
Answer:
Yes, you'll need rear axles, too: https://www.minimania.com/part/U-BTA806/Used-Rear-Axle-Sprite--Midget-Disc-Wheels-Only
Then you'll need both front and rear hubs for disc wheels: https://www.minimania.com/part/U-2A7087/Used-Sprite-Midget--Morris-Minor-Rear-Hub-For-Disc-Wheels
We don't have any of the front disc hubs available right now.
Then you'll need bearings and seals. The rear kit is: https://www.minimania.com/part/DIF147K/Rear-Axle-Wheel-Bearing-Kit--Seal--Sprite--Mg-Midget-Morris-1-Side
The fronts should be the tapered types: https://www.minimania.com/part/SUS166T/Timken-Front-Wheel-Bearing-Kit-For-1-Side--Sprite--Mg-Midget--Morris

Question:
Will this kit fit under my stock steel wheels? 1959 Sprite.
Answer:
I'm assuming your original steel wheels have the holes around the outer portion? If so, those will touch the fasteners - but the kit comes with 5mm spacers that will fix that issue.
Thanks.
Thanks.
