When changing the oil in MINI Cooper or Cooper S, the factory recommends that you replace the sealing washer. Since the sealing washer is part of the factory drain plug, you can get the factory drain plug with the seal, or get this lower cost aftermarket replacement with seal. 17mm Hex head. Torque the drain plug to 18 ft-lb.
