MINI factory replacement Stainless pads for the DEAD PEDAL. This is the 'footrest' along the left side kick panel. Each item SOLD EACH.

Fits the following models:

2002-2006 R50 MINI Cooper and R53 Cooper S Hatchback
2005-2008 R52 MINI Cooper and Cooper S Convertible

The Brake and Clutch pedals uses the same part on Manual Transmission equipped MINIs.

The Brake pedal cover for the Auto Transmission is different from the Manual transmission MINIs.

The Dead Pedal is the foot rest along the left side kick panel.

For the Accelerator pedal, the 'insert' is not available separately and the entire module must be replaced. See NMI7684.

Question:

I don't understand how holding the clutch down overnight removes any air remaining in the system. How does the air go out? Are you supposed to keep the bleed valve open during this process?

Answer:

The way I advise clutch bleeding is to:

1. Bleed the system once with the clutch slave removed and in a fully compressed position.

2. Install the slave, and bleed again.

The factory only instructs step 1.
