Street/Track Adjustable Camber plates. Sold in pairs.

03/2002-2006 R50 MINI Cooper and R53 Cooper S Hatchback
2005-2008 R52 MINI Cooper and Cooper S Convertible

NOTE: These camber plates are compatible with MINIs built during or after March 2002. Differences in front suspension prior to March 2002 make these camber plate incompatible with earlier models.

These camber plates can be mounted without modifications to the strut towers. However, in order to gain maximum range of adjustment, especially if you have coilovers with smaller diameter springs, you may need to enlarge the opening at the top of the strut tower. This will not affect the structural integrity of the strut tower since the camber plates add more rigidity than lost by the modification. The Camber plate can also be used with only two of the 4 slider screws, minimizing the need for the strut tower modifications.

If the camber plates are installed on the wrong sides, it will appear that the adjustment slider does not have any range - if this is the case - swap sides!

Street / track
Adjustable camber plates for the street and occasional track days. These allow well over 3 degrees of negative camber for the front suspension. These plates have spherical bearings encased in urethane to offer some cushioning. The bearings are replaceable unlike other similar brands.

These are for dual purpose car that are street driven but are also used for track days and autocross. You can add negative camber for the track and adjust it back for street driving. They do not require drilling any holes and your strut brace will still fit. The bearings are easily replaced. Ride height will be approximately same as with the factory bearing. These will work with factory type springs or 2.5" ID springs and adjustable coil over systems like the Bilstein PSS9.

Factory diameter springs will not allow full camber adjustment as they will contact the inner fender at around 2 degrees camber.

Since these camber plates are sandwiched between the strut and strut tower, there may be a small increase in ride height of approximately 0.5 inch.

Note: Based on customer input and testing we have made a design change that will allow 3 degrees of camber before the bolts contact the strut tower sheet metal.
Note: These plates do not work with the Tein adjustable SS+ front shocks.
Note: These plates do not fit early chassis (before 04/2002).

Once again we’re back to trade-offs. For the average driver, with average passengers, the ability of the car to absorb bumps without rattling the dentures of gran’pa in the back seat is at least as important as how fast the car will get around corners.
