DRAW BAR W/BAG

If you are planning to tow with a receiver hitch, you will need a drawbar. When you are not towing, you will need a good place to keep the draw bar, pin, and clip available and ready for use. This draw bar is perfect for our Miniature Trailer and the correct length for our hidden Trailer Receiver Hitch.

* 1 1/4” Class I drawbar with 2” drop
* Includes 1 7/8” ball
* Tow chain hooks included
* 1/2" pin and clip included
* All stored in an OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) Mini Cooper trunk mounted tool bag
* Draw bar bag uses clips and mounts in boot of car when not in use

See our Mini Cooper Hitch Application Guide to find Hitches.

If you need a Bike Rack to fit your new 1-1/4" Hitch, see the Mini Cooper Bike Rack Yakima 1-1/4" Hitch Mount.

Question:
I have a New MINI Cooper S Convertible (F57). I see that you have a trailer hitch that will fit my car. What I cannot figure out is where/how I would connect safety towing chains for a lightweight kayak trailer I plan to purchase. Do the chains connect to the hitch or to the frame of the vehicle? If it is to the frame, where are the connection points? Is there another part I need to make it work? I think I have everything figured out except for this.
Answer:
Okay, the attachment point for the safety chain is on the drawbar. So, whichever drawbar you choose to use, make sure it has the attachment point for the safety chain.
