This design of sun visor pad was first introduced to Mk1 Minis in 1966 in a Cream Crackle-colored material. After the launch of the Mk3 models in 1970, the color was changed to a light grey. The same pad was used on all cars to the end of production in the year 2000. In the 1990's an off-white headlining and pads were used and very late Minis had cloth headlinings and pads.
