Question:
Hello there! I have a 1968 Mini and have the classic gear shift lever with a lot of play in it.
Do you guys have a kit to solve this or is a rebuild the only solution?
Answer:
Hi ,
It may be some of the anti-rattle and securing hardware is worn that steadies the gear shift lever. Is your gearbox original to the car? If so take a look here and see the remote style shift components: https://www.minimania.com/catPage/4-25/4/25/0/Gear-Change-Up-to-1972-Not-Rod-Change
Hope this helps.
