I'm ok with him not liking my ideas. But when he says he's going to slander me and blatantly make up lies, I get defensive. I was actually nice to him even after he went crazy and called me a racist. Offered to help him fix his carb problem and offered a great price on a freshly rebuilt carb with new parts. Then he tells people to email him directly so he can tell lies that I would have no way to defend against. I'm simply putting all of the facts out there because i'm an honest person and I don't want him spewing lies behind my back.

Not everyone here likes me. That's ok. I don't like robster. So when I post help in his threads, there isn't much kindness in my tone. But I don't provoke him intentionally. And I definitely don't care to "argue" with him. If I post something in response to him it's usualy because I have proof he is wrong.

With all that said, I think too many people enjoy the train wreck here to let it die. Mostly because they aren't the other train in the wreck. And I think it's clear from other posts (where I wasn't even the one who commented) he attacks me and It's someone else entirely. He has something against me.

No big deal if he dislikes me. I'm not exactly actively seeking his friendship. But taking it to this level gets a response out of me. Especially when the leadership doesn't care to stop the food fight.

Definitely not me. I couldn't even act that obtuse if I tried. Besides, I wouldn't be caught dead on a scooter.

Five month old? Not much to figuring out how they work. Sleep, eat, poop.... not much else.

I think he was referring to the shift of a 5-speed transmission, not the 'transmission" of the 5-month old, which is not covered by Haynes.

7. Michael Palin from "I'd like to have an argument please"

Actually, by now I find it unlikely that he's one of "us".  The time investment required to continue this as a put on.... and to what end?  It's like an SNL skit that's gone on too long, making the viewer uncomfortable!

"...I think he was saying he had better things to do than watch our friend defy logic and comprehension..."

Thank you Dan! I just meant that the teacher has left the room, no direct supervision...out with the spit-wad straws!  Of course no slight directed at anyone. Just that getting sucked into that exchange would be time lost in life, never to be regained. Sort of like 90% of Facebook!  Uh-oh... Dexter is draging his butt accross the carpet, time to go see Auntie Susan (our Vet)!

Yes I'm off today. I have a squirming 5 month old on my lap. Let me tell you, cutting his nails is more technically challenging than porting a Mini cylinder head!  Almost as hard as getting that 5-speed apart without breaking anything! I'll post an update about that.

Well, as I haven't had any other off-channel conversations with him, and you guys seem to understand that my intent was clear and no one was slighted, i'll begin implementation of agenda1.

MtyMouse:

Although there's no getting around the annoyance, don't be concerned about libellous and slanderous information from our friend... everyone else who reads the posted email threads (with or without the red marks) will see pretty clearly you were/are completely above-board in this and our friend continues to misinterpret, refusing to accept or comprehend any clarification or explanation offered.

I don't think Jamal's personal comment anbout not wanting to read the email conversation was intended to slight you. I think he was saying he had better things to do than watch our friend defy logic and comprehension (maybe even checking poor Dexter's glands) summed up when he wrote "our daily dose(s) of aggravation!" (emphasis on 'our' mine).  If we think this is aggravating, we need only remember the "Sicko!" thread of years gone by (possibly before Jamal's time?).

Barabbas didn't say "crucify him". He was the prisoner chosen by the crowd to be released by the governor. In a way he was the first to be saved by Jesus dying in his place. (Matthew 27: 15-20 if anybody is interested. Maybe another "manual" our friend thinks he knows moe than.)
