Well, maybe not himself, but at least the voices, ahh yes, the voices in his head.

How can you be worried about looking sharp when you are driving around with most of the paint sanded off the car. Do a search for rustoleum re paints there are some good ones that look professional that should suit your budget.

if you leave that left over thanksgiving turkey foil in the garbage where it belongs and buy some real sound/heat proofing you could hear yourself at ahem 90mph.

These are hard to come by. Would be a good noise deadener . If you could find one.

and i already have the Pdf version of Haynes booklet provided by my good handsome macho friend Dimitris...

but  i really need a good teflon cable,, im gonna buy one online

From the looks of your photo here, the next post you start will no doubt be about 'Mini Headliners Where to Buy How to Install' because that one is definitely boogered up. The .50 cent rear view mirror only gave you a new hole(s) that doesn't belong in the headliner. Practical?

A clip on aftermarket wide view panoramic one that fits over the regular Mini mirror and enhances your viewing pleasure is only about $8 on flea bay. Even that should fit your small budget !!!!!

I forgot mirrors are for followers and at 90 mph you are obviously leading the pack and pulling away so why bother with the extra weight ????

What was wrong with the old mirror that properly fitted the car?

but yes mal you are right about the accelerator pedal mount, it has rusted out and jiggles a little bit when depressed, im gonna have to weld a plate and re-bolt the pedal assembly.. thanks, you're the type that sees what's unseen.. appreciated!

As i figured another back yard botch that looks like you fastened it with one self tapper through the headliner, why don't you take some time to repair / replace things correctly ? As i posted if your accelerator pedal is worn and loose and does not align with the hole and you have a groove in the cable mount you are wasting your time and money buying a teflon lined cable which by the way is more expensive than the regular ones.

...because a shiny piece of tat is far more important than a set of plug leads or a manual.
